Questions about paying
Is it really one payment?
Yes. $7.99, once. Nothing renews, there's no subscription and nothing to cancel.
What does “for as long as sov.gg runs” mean?
Premium stays on your account for the life of the service. If sov.gg ever closes for good, Premium ends with it, and that isn't a reason for a refund either.
Can I get a refund?
No. Every sale is final: payments for Premium, gifts and anything else on sov.gg aren't refunded, for any reason, changing your mind included. That's why every Premium option can be tried in your own editor first: it shows in your preview and stays off your page until you have Premium. The full rules are in the Terms of Sale.
How does paying by card or wallet work?
Press Pay and you go to the checkout page of Polar, our merchant of record: the company that takes the payment and handles the tax. Pay with a card, or with a wallet such as Apple Pay or Google Pay where your device supports one. The price is in US dollars; Polar may show it in your local currency and adds tax where it applies. Premium turns on once Polar confirms the payment. If anything goes wrong, write to support@sov.gg with your order number.
How does paying with crypto work?
Press Pay and you go to the checkout page of NOWPayments, the payment service we use. Choose a coin there and send the exact amount it shows from your wallet. Premium turns on once the payment is confirmed on its network, usually within minutes. Your wallet's network fee is yours to pay. If anything goes wrong, write to support@sov.gg with your order number.
Who can buy Premium?
You must be 18 or older to buy Premium, for yourself or as a gift. Anyone with a sov.gg account can redeem a code or receive Premium as a gift.
What if a payment is reversed?
If a payment is charged back, disputed or reversed, the Premium it paid for is paused and the account that paid is banned. If something is wrong with a payment, write to us first. Appeals go to the support email and are read by the owner.
Can I give Premium to someone?
Yes. Choose “As a gift” above: send it straight to their sov.gg name, or get a code to pass on. A gift sent to a name is final, so check the name first. Whoever redeems a code gets Premium, and a lost code can't be replaced.
I won a code in a giveaway. What now?
Sign in, open “Redeem a code” above and type it in. A code starts Premium on your account. If you have Premium already, the code stays unused, so you can pass it on.
What happens if my Premium ends?
Premium doesn't run out. If it's ever taken off an account (after a reversed payment, say), the page stays up without its Premium parts. The Premium settings are kept, hidden, and come back with Premium, unless changes are saved in the meantime: a save on the free plan leaves them out.
Is sov.gg free?
Yes. Your page at sov.gg/yourname, the live editor, free fonts, materials and effects, an image or video background, a music track and the view counter cost nothing, for as long as you use them. Premium adds the rest.
