Terms of Sale
Last updated 1 November 2026
1. What these terms cover
These Terms of Sale apply when you buy anything on sov.gg: Premium for yourself, Premium as a gift, Supporter, a badge, or anything else we sell. They also cover redeeming a Premium code. They add to our Terms of Service, which still apply in full. Where the two say different things about buying, these terms are the ones that count. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep about a purchase.
2. No refunds
- Every sale is final. We don't give refunds, for any purchase and for any reason. That covers Premium, gifts, Supporter, badges and anything we sell later. It includes changing your mind, not using what you bought, buying by mistake, deleting your account, your account being suspended or closed, and sov.gg closing.
- Before you buy Premium, you can try every Premium option in your own editor: it shows in your preview and stays off your page until you have Premium. Please do, so you know what you're paying for.
- Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law where you live that can't be waived by contract.
3. Who can buy
- You must be 18 or older to buy anything on sov.gg, for yourself or as a gift. When you tick the box at checkout, you confirm that you are.
- You need a sov.gg account to buy. Anyone with an account can receive a gift or redeem a code, whatever their age, as long as they're old enough to have an account.
- We may refuse or cancel a purchase if we have good reason to think the buyer is under 18, or that the payment is fraudulent.
4. What you get
- Premium unlocks sov.gg's Premium features on the account it's on. The Premium page shows what they are.
- The features Premium includes may change as sov.gg develops, as our Terms of Service say. We'll tell you before taking away a significant one.
- Premium belongs to the account it's on. It can't be moved to another account, sold or traded.
5. Price and payment
- Premium is a one-time payment, for the price shown at checkout (today $7.99, in US dollars). There's no subscription: nothing renews and you're never charged again for it. Other items cost what's shown when you buy them.
- Prices may change. The price shown when you pay is the one that applies to that purchase, and a later change doesn't affect what you already bought.
- Payments are handled by third parties, not by us. A payment service or merchant of record may process your purchase under its own terms and privacy policy, and by paying you accept those terms at checkout. Providers we use or plan to use:
- NOWPayments: cryptocurrency. You choose a coin on its checkout page and it works out the amount in that coin. We never see or hold your wallet's keys.
- Polar: card and wallet payments. Polar acts as the merchant of record, which means it is the seller on the payment itself, and its terms apply to that payment.
- Fees charged by your wallet, your bank or the coin's network are yours to pay.
- A payment counts once the payment service confirms it to us. Premium, or the gift, is added then: usually within minutes, longer for some coins.
- If a payment fails or expires, or less arrives than was asked for, Premium isn't added. Write to support@sov.gg with your order number.
6. Chargebacks and reversed payments
- If a payment is charged back, disputed with a payment provider or your bank, or reversed in any other way, we pause the Premium that payment paid for (on whichever account it went to, a gift included) and the account that made the payment is banned.
- If something is wrong with a payment, write to support@sov.gg first, before you start a dispute. Most problems are quicker to sort out that way.
- If you think a ban after a reversed payment was a mistake, write to support@sov.gg. The owner reads and decides appeals about this, and they're only handled by writing to that address.
7. What "lifetime" means
- Premium is sold for the life of the service. "Lifetime" and "for as long as sov.gg runs" mean the same thing: Premium stays on your account for as long as sov.gg is running and your account exists.
- It ends if you delete your account, if we close your account for breaking our Terms of Service, or if sov.gg shuts down for good. None of these is a reason for a refund.
- If we decide to shut sov.gg down, we'll tell account holders before it happens.
8. Gifts
- You can buy Premium for someone else: sent straight to their sov.gg username, or as a code you pass on.
- A gift sent to a username is final. It's added to that account as soon as the payment is confirmed, and it can't be taken back, moved to another account or swapped. Check the username before you pay.
- A gift code is shown to you once the payment is confirmed. Keep it safe: whoever has the code can redeem it, and we can't replace a code that's lost or that someone else redeems first.
- Gifts follow the rest of these terms: no refunds, and a reversed payment pauses the Premium it paid for.
9. Premium codes
- A code (from a giveaway, a gift or our staff) starts Premium on the account that redeems it. It never adds time, and it adds nothing to an account that already has Premium: the code stays unused, so you can pass it on.
- Each account can redeem a code once. Some codes work for several accounts, up to a limit.
- Codes can't be refunded. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be sold or swapped. A giveaway code may have an end date, shown where it's given out. We may cancel codes that were obtained by fraud, or resold.
10. Support
Support for purchases comes from the owner of sov.gg alone, by writing to support@sov.gg. Please include your order number if you have one. There's no other support channel.
